If it's not too late for suggestions and stuff, are you guys gonna add stuff like wings/non-human ears/tails that have a good amount of different color options or would that be too much?? Also maybe star/space themed things in it?? Accessories and that kind of stuff idk I'm bad at explaining

Inspired by recent aesthetic asks, what's your personal favorite Sonic game based on aesthetics?? ✨✨🌠

Sonic CD, easily!

It’s the most unique and abstract in terms on aesthetics, it really feels like an alien planet!

It has some of the most gorgeous, popping colors, especially in the Good Futures!

Speaking of the Good Futures, instead of just saying “nature is good, technology is bad”, the utopia of Little Planet Good Future shows the two working together in harmony, which is a pretty original message and makes for one of the earliest examples of solar punk in fiction:

And the Bad Futures are dark and creepy, but they never feel edgy for edge’s sake, and they’re a great way to show how callous and dangerous Eggman is without a single word:

The Pasts are also really pretty, and a creative way to give depth to a zone - like the fact that apparently Wacky Workbench was built in a canyon area, or that the ruins of Tidal Tempest are so old, they’re even prehistorical:

So yeah, I love Sonic CD’s aesthetics <3

The closest other game that came close to it was Sonic Colors, which also was creative, colorful, and pleasantly alien in stages like Sweet Mountain and Planet Wisp:

And Sonic Heroes in certain places was no slouch either:
