A year ago I was crying over kin memories and an acquaintance of mine who is also fictionkin tried to comfort me by saying "well youre psychological kin right? so it didn't really happen to you."

I cant even? fucking huh? it was so totally insensitive and inappropriate of them imho? Like did they just think I was pretending? that I wasn't actually (name) or something? It felt like, really humiliating honestly lmao. Just because I personally don't think I'm a reincarnation or a soul-shard or anything else, I'm not what I say I am?

But yeah to this very day whenever I get emotional about kin stuff I think about how they (and probably other people) think my misery is less valid than theirs.
