Of course she's ready to go, has been for a minute, but instead of saying that she just smiles, giving her friend an enthusiastic nod. "I am!" She can feel excitement bubbling in her chest at the prospect of a fun, relaxing evening with Lucy.
Things had been so hectic lately that she had barely had a chance to stop and take a breath, or even sit for more than a few minutes before she was needed again, or there was another job to go on, or she needed to consult for someone.
