I’ve been doing some thinking lately, about the one interaction we had. It’s not all I’ve been doing, of course, since I still have work, and plus I’d drive myself insane with that one track. And not in a good way.

Anyway, I was wondering if there was some more secure way I could reach you. With your habits and me being watched like a hawk all the time any appearance of impropriety is itself impropriety and like I said, memos are monitored. However, if I find the need to contact you for whatever reason, I’d like to feel safe doing so, for both our sakes.

At this juncture I should inform you that my friend and I are no longer speaking, due to my poor communication skills especially under the influence of alcohol. I miss him to pieces, but I’ve kind of given up. He doesn’t want to talk to me so I’ve got to be OK with that.

Enough of that. That track will drive me insane too.

Whatever gift you have in store for me, I can’t send a proper thank you or rejection for another two weeks or so. I’ve got a big break job in the Cayman Islands, just landed today and got settled in. This is a nice hotel. That always shocks me for some reason, that now I can afford nice hotels.

The weather’s lovely; I’m sure you’re beginning to freeze your bollocks off over there in St. Pete. ;) I recommend it already.

3. I am naturally very paranoid, for this I do not apologize. You will very likely face more of my paranoia these days, after what’s happened. I would like to move that my agent, BRO5364 Agent 90, be returned to active duty effective as soon as possible, on the following grounds:

1. It has been almost two weeks since her suspension, and the time away from the work place is affecting her, evidenced in her journal entries. I am concerned for her mental well-being and believe returning to duty will be good for her.

2. Similarly, it has been three weeks to a month since her last contract. Attached are several Agency studies pertaining to the proper pacing of contracts for agents, to consider along with the reasons listed under point 1. In sum, she is overdue.

3. I have gone over the metadata surrounding her accounts with a fine-tooth comb (Yes, I will replenish the coffee supplies I have depleted in so doing). I have found no evidence that fraud has even been attempted; there seem to be no grounds for suspending Ms. Van Dees.

4. I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that Agent Van Dees is not a normal human like you or I. She is, at least in part, specifically constructed for the work that we do.

5. Lastly, her normal method of catharsis (which is to say hitting things and sparring in one of the training rooms with Task Force 1) has been denied her for an abnormally long period of time. See point 1 for why this concerns me.

If you have questions pertaining to any elements of my reasoning stated herein, I am happy to answer them. However, be mindful that her journal entries and other personally sensitive data cannot be released to you, being a violation of protocol.

Phase one progress report:

Spoken with Victoria, and I think I have an understanding as to what Mr. Chairman is after, at least in part. Here’s how I believe it to work:

1. Separate 47 and Diana, and place 47 with a handler under his control.

2. Indebt Victoria to him, by giving her a special surgery that will set her up with life-sustaining isotopes 24/7

3. Send me to a three-week training session in Halifax next month; purpose this serves is unknown, but if the pattern holds it could be a way to gain control over me. (Note: I have concerns about mind control, please refer to attached notes on Octagon and the chemicals they used to control the thoughts and actions of their clones.)

3.a. Point out slight discrepancies in my financials that could easily be explained by glitches in the new system in Accounting and Finance and cloak such notice in a veil of concern. (If this happens to anyone else involved, take note of this. Also, I’ve gone over my own financial records, I can’t find anything a chairman would logically find noteworthy.)

The normal human beings who do assassinations for the Agency (just as well as can be expected, I should point out) have so far gone untouched. This tells me that they are not the point of focus, that instead it’s the engineered human beings that the Agency has already hired. That’s a telling and troubling pattern.
