You've been thinking of exploring the area you live in more. You don't know why you haven't, really. Maybe taking care of dogdad takes up a little more time than thought. You haven't explored past the water well, which is the only water source nearby.
It's time you did.
You captcha your laptop using your fetch modus. It's literally a 'fetch' modus. When you need something it gets launched and you have to, well, fetch it. Proves problematic. You also captcha a few bottles of water, not that you'll need them. You leave out a bit of food for dogdad, incase he wakes up for once.
You head out, and start walking all the way over past the well and over the hills you've never been over.
