Showing someone my old sketchbooks from years ago is like baring my soul to them... I'm vulnerable to their criticism, they see how I as a person have changed and grown into who I am now. It's scary. It's frightening. But it shows how much I trust her, and the fact that she could determine how my life was by my art proves that she is my best friend. I'm glad I showed her my art from years ago, because now I know she knows me better than anyone else.
