Nothing like a cricket match to cheer Pakistanis up! It was raining outside all morning and all of us were huddled together in the cosy college cafeteria, watching the match. Pipping hot samosas, shawarmas and jalebi and of course, doodh patti were provided in abundant supplies by the amazing Ghaffar chacha! Nobody was in the mood to take lectures today. The professors were all too busy keeping up with the score and making predictions to walk from their offices in the hospital to the college! And it was raining anyway, and the hospital cafeteria is a lot cozier (they serve gulab jamun in hot syrup and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and biryani) The café crowd was so cheerful! There was uproarious cheering and laughters and excitement. Everybody was so pumped up. I had a really good time just sitting there amidst that awesome crowd, listening to their excited chatter about cricket, drinking chai and taking goofy selfies with glowing friends! What a day!!
