Icenetwork Closing

USFSA and NBC announced today that they will be closing down Icenetwork as a figure skating streaming service on June 30th, 2018. They will be launching a new service called the Figure Skating Pass on NBC Sports Gold. Prices and other logistics are unknown yet, but they did say that they will be moving their skating footage from Ice Network to that platform. It's a decision in part with USFSA's new contract with NBC as the provider of skating content in the USA, which they renew about every 8 years. This will be in effect until 2026 at the very least.

Hi guys! A personal reminder.

I hope the one you would vote for is the one who you think is the most beautiful program for you and not just because of popularity or he is your personal fav. As you can see, I voted for Yuzu, not just because he is my favorite skater but because I think his FS (Hope and Legacy) was really a well versed program in regards to technically and artistry. It was a complicated program yet you can look at it with ease, that’s how good the flow of it (for me).

“Inside Skating gets some good photos and interviews but their reporting is just terrible. They fangirl/fanboy so much over skaters that it feels more like a blog and less like a news site. Even Ice Network looks more neutral in comparison to Inside Skating.”
