Grizzard the evolution of Beartic after being given the item 'Permafrost Plate'
Another Fakemon, one wouldn't want to meet in a blizzard, Grizzard are fearless and hungry, they are the reason the locals built their settlements to be like fortress to prevent such a powerful Fakemon from breaking in.
Grizzard are both feared and respected, any who manage to tame such a fakemon receive the same respect.
Though sightings of such Fakemon have started to dwindle in the last century as the Vinter region starts to warm up more.

I've honestly never liked Beartic design and these feelings were only confounded after I caught a shiny Cubchoo during my Pokemon White Game. I loved it's purple colouration, but seeing what the Beartic shiny looked like, was disappointing so I kept them as a Cubchoo. But when Pokemon Legend Arceus gave us an evolution for Ursaring into Ursaluna, it gave me hope that one day they'll do the same for Beartic, so instead of waiting for that day I decided to design its evolution myself and also bring back the strong purple colour in its shiny form too!
Also like the idea that the player character can ride Grizzard similar to Ursaluna and find both items and Pokemon hidden beneath the ice.
