Garry was beginning to think he’d been led on a wild goose chase. It wouldn’t have been the first time the dolls had done something of the sort, although usually he was smart enough to ignore their attempts to trick him.

But it seemed they’d finally figured out what to tell him to get him to react. Because, apparantly, they had dragged another person into the Fabricated World without his knowledge or consent.

Was he surprised? Not really.

They’d been trying to get him to do it himself for a long time, and seemed to get more impatient the more he refused. He really wasn’t sure what their motive was, unless they just wanted to get rid of him.

That wouldn’t surprise him either, really.

But nevertheless, here he was, looking for someone he was beginning to doubt was actually there.

Afterall, he’d backtracked into an area of the Fabricated World he’d never even been in before, past where he had come in and closer to where Ib had apparantly come in. Surely he would have-

“Oh.” As he opened the door to enter the green area, he found himself staring directly at the person the dolls had brought in. And he realized for the first time that he really didn’t have a clue what he planned on doing.

It had been so long since he’d interacted with another person.

He blinked twice, then gave a small smile, and waved. “Ah! Hello. Pardon me, I wasn’t expecting to find anyone here. You’re the first person I’ve seen here in... well, who knows how long.”

There was no real reason to hide the situation he was in, was there? As much as the dolls tried to talk him into it, he had absolutely no intention of taking the same path Mary had. He just didn’t think he had it in him.

Collision Course

The Red Force was in full relaxation mode. Things the past few weeks had been move, move, move, stress, stress, death, pain, so much chaos. And now they were in the middle of the ocean. There wasn’t anything they could do further to help the world, so now it was time to help themselves. Shanks was laying back on the deck of his ship, enjoying the sun and the gentle rocking of the boat. 

His entire crew was lazing about like this, they had even furled the sails to stay idle. What good was being a pirate if you couldn’t enjoy the ocean? The smell of salt and wind, the sun on your skin, he was barely even awake.
