glad i finally accepted that she/her pronouns are Not the enemy... i felt so adverse to them for so long and it feels so GOOD to reclaim them on my own terms 💜

oh my god can I just say how freeing it is to be able to look at men again without feeling like I'm Betraying my community for not being a Real Lesbian

i think that discourse about how men cant be lesbians can lack nuance because people with complex gender identities exist. multigendered people exist. yeah cis men and binary trans men can't be lesbians but there are plenty of people out there who identify both as men and women who are still lesbians. but honestly i find it really alienating to be told that i cant be a lesbian just because im two spirit and bigender and its alienated me from the label almost entirely despite the fact that i dont desire to date men and still feel connected to my womanhood im terms of sexuality.
