#24 - have you ever felt like you had a “mind-meld” with someone?

So, I met my roommate/partner my first week of college, and that was a mind-meld that has lasted going on three decades now.

And then, twenty something years ago a friend brought a girlfriend home (ahem @cecilyv), and their relationship didn't last, but my friendship with @cecilyv did (also with the original friend). And, that was a mind-meld from the start, and now we write together sometimes and that is more fun than it has any right to be.

dog person or cat person?

I am 100% a cat person (who would've guessed?) I appreciate dogs but cats have such a chunk of my heart. I have a mug that says cat mama and I love it so much. They do activate my I am in charge of a baby mode - I'll wake up at the slightest distress mew from a tiny one.

Hogwarts, Narnia, Middle Earth, somewhere else?

As much as I want to take Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures... I'm going to Narnia. I think it would be interesting and fun and it's the fictional world where I think I'm guaranteed seeing magic.

1. if someone wanted to really understand you, what would they read, watch, and listen to?

watch and read everything and anything jane austen, little women ofc, all the oceans movies (8, 11, 12 and 13), definitely read all of sarah j maas's books cos you can find most of my personality stored in those books.......i can't think of anything else now damn it. oh, oscar wilde's work (especially poetry), and how about the entire mcu as well? that should cover most of it lmao <33

2. have you ever found a writer who thinks just like you? if so, who?

this is such an interesting question!!! i don't think i have meet someone just like me, because everyone's writing style and ideas are so different, but definitely some of my writing moots here share at least one brain cell with me (and i'd say your one of them. it's like we're made of the same stardust, the way we think the so similar sometimes <3)

1. If someone want to really understand you, what would they read, watch and listen to?

Ohhh, of course I have a problem with choosing one particular book. Let's just say Potop, but that's because I can't come up with anything else for now. But they would watch Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency and listen to any Mozart piece (okay, maybe not eine kleine).

5. Do you think of yourself as a human being or a human doing? Do you identify yourself by the things you do?

Human doing. Our actions define us. I always try to consider every step I make and every word I say. What I do is who I am.

16. If you'd grown up in a different environment, do you think you'd have turned out the same.

I wouldn't, for sure. I'm from Poland, I'm from a poor family, I was born in a small town. Maybe I wouldn't be a completely different person, but I wouldn't be the same.

18. What's your patronus?

Fox. Or a cow.

9. are you an artist?

Well I do sketch quite a bit. Especially anime characters. So yes I’m an artist in that aspect, if you guys want to see my sketches, my instagram username is “NoLongerHuman”. 

25. could you live as a hermit?

Could I live as a hermit? Yes, I could. In fact my dream is to move away from ‘society’ and live in a place like the midlands, writing novels/stories. It is much more peaceful and not chaotic compared to where I am now. Perhaps the only form of daily contact with humans when I do go to such a place would be through social media such as tumblr if it’s still around then. Yes, I do want to be secluded from other human beings, but that does not mean I hate them, I just wish to be alone and enjoy my days as an author

no ffjkhlkhkjd but i really like jenny slate because she’s unique and has such an interesting writing style!!

dogs!!!!!! my sister and i were literally attacked by a cat when we were kids so im sort of fearful of them now dghhgdglhkj but i really like dogs and would love to have a couple one day :)

20. would you rather be in Middle Earth, Narnia, Hogwarts, or somewhere else?

i was gonna say that existing in any of these universes would be scary bc theres so much evil in them but theres a lot in real life too actually so hfdkjhflhgdk i might as well just pick a fantasy world bc at least there i’d have powers or something lmaoo i’d probably pick hogwarts bc i would love to have magic and shapeshift and travel via portal and stuff :D

It is in terms of my exhaustion, sleep deprivation, melancholy and feeling rather small in the world. It is, however, not in terms of my creative aspirations, my wish for travelling far and sticking out of the crowd as a free spirit.
