Why are you talking like these two are real people? In fiction you are supposed to have conflict. Everything isn't going to be ideal.

This is like asking me "why were you okay with Rayla leaving even if it hurt them both" because it was good conflict and development for them. They gave rayllum conflict that was fitting instead a very nonsensical one like cheating or a huge dramatic breakup. Kids would also fit because they are very parental people in a situation of a world-ending crisis.

Accidents happen. Even the most prepared couples do have them sometimes. If they had an accidental pregnancy why would they renounce their baby? Marrying and having kids isn't for everyone‚ but for lots of people is. And these two specifically would be happy about it.
