Another doodle dump!

This one is a bit more personal tackling more of Zenny's past and a little doodle of an outfit I wore out a few days ago, also a quick concept doodle of Rosa

I don't think I've ever posted my personal sona on here? I never really bothered giving my personal sona an update because Zenny kind of acted as one for me for a long time until I started giving her a life of her own. It was until I started dating again that sparked my interest again cuz I wanted to draw us doing cute things.

In the 4th/5th image is a doodle of what I wore out to a museum trip with my college friends, it was my second time dressing out like that and I was really nervous having the public eye on me like that. I wanna dress out more but definitely after I try nair and learn how to do make up.

Alright looping back to Zenny tho, in the first doodle is a concept doodle of Zenny struggle with her growing body before the light elemental incident. And it harkens back to how I feel about my own growing body. I don't know how I'll be able to fit Zenny's past into IdLS's story, seeing how most of the development is half and half. The main stick in the mud is how someone with gender and body dysphoria react to a new body that more closely aligns with what they want, it's a dream for a lot of people out there and I want to portray it in a way where it's not too out there. The few stories that I have seen doing this same trope never really expanded more on it or did it in this type of flavor with a trans character.

The rest of the doodles are just me trying to fix my brushes again since I wanted it to feel more like fire alpaca and draw a dog, oh and Sabo from one piece because my partner wanted me to doodle him

Writing this down now so future me can remember:

When Pumpkin first met Rosa, Rosa was still deep in her whole biker era.

After she started to date Pumpkin, she let her hair grow out so she has a reminder for how long it has been since she started dating her.

So I was going through old art to find some old Zenny art and I stumbled upon these old comic pages for a scrapped date night I had planned for Rosa and Pumpkin.

This stuff was when everyone's designs were still super early too. And it's kind of ironic that Rosa needs to go to a salon to get her hair fixed, Rosa was initially going to be an all rounder fashionista but the idea didn't really went anywhere and I wanted to focused more on her past as a biker.

Technically you could read these in this order to still get a somewhat coherent story seeing how it continues off of where Rosa and Emi stopped talking.

There was also this concept of magic users being unwanted in society in this early world building phase. Hence that little dialogue with Pumpkin and Zenny.

It's just really interesting to think how much I've changed around how these character's lives affected each other. I think at one point I wanted to put Emi and Rosa in the same biker gang.

In someway, some of these parts are still intact in the current version of IdLS. Just not all of the parts, especially now with the Hard Light Incident being a massive world changing event.
