You know, it sucks having an amazing memory when it comes to someone you care for. I know so much about your thoughts, hopes, fears, dreams, etc. and I can't go a day without running into thoughts of you. However, even if I summoned the will to drive upstate to see you again, how would you feel? Would you hate me? Would you not care? Or perhaps you might still feel the same way and all these years I've only been torturing myself in this self-imposed prison away from you. I'm not the type to say things of importance aloud because those things go without saying. They're in my eyes when I look upon you, the way I act, the things I do for you, etc. but should I'll never know, unless one day I stop avoiding the places you roam and we happen to meet once more. I'll keep telling myself that as I keep these embers in my heart lit.
