I love my friends.
Most of the reason last night was so wonderful is because I did not once feel bad about myself. I didn't care that I was eating. I didn't look at my scars. I didn't think about how nervous I was or how unliked I am.
I sat around with my favorite people on the planet. And instead of longing to be somewhere else, I sat there, content, and thought "This is exactly how I want my life to be." I told the girls, "I just want to hang out with you all and act. That's all I want to do in this life." Because I can sit in a circle with them and know at the bottom of my heart that they love me. I feel cherished when I am with them. I don't think about how little friends I have; I think about how I have the best friends in the world. Whether I'm laughing my ass off or telling them how hurt I am by something, they are there for me. They care. I am accepted by them, and that's more than I can ask from anyone. So yeah. I forget to appreciate them sometimes. But last night reminded me that I am not alone. I'm surrounded by the best people on this earth.
