We got the last four preview pages for Issue 1 of Scrapnik Island as well as a bunch of other stuff! First, here are the Scrapnik Island pages...

We also got another reference sheet, this time of that E-Series robot we saw on one of the covers for Issue 2. Everyone, say hello to E-117 Sigma!

We also got the first preview page for Issue 54, which comes out a week after Issue 1 of Scrapnik Island tomorrow...

And finally, it was also revealed that we’ll be getting a bit of a preview comic (as well as possibly an animated special thing) for Frontiers called Sonic Frontiers Prologue: Convergence that will be releasing in parts, and we actually just got the first couple pages (which I assume is the first part) today!

That’s it for today, but we’ll be getting the rest of Scrapnik Island Issue 1 tomorrow as well as Issue 54 of the main series on the 26th!

We also got some covers as well as the solicits for Issue 57 of the main series as well as Issue 4 of Scrapnik Island, both of which are set to come out in January...

With Surge finally out of their quills, the Restoration turns their attention to bringing down the Eggperial City. It’s growing, volatile, and dredging up the surrounding environment… Jewel sends Sonic, Tangle, and Whisper to investigate, but it unearths some unwanted reminders of the past.

We all go a little mad sometimes…especially when you were created by an evil scientist. Poor Mecha Sonic never stood a chance. As his plan reaches its final stages, Tails, Sigma, and the Scrapniks race around the Death Egg to save Sonic.

And to end us off, we also have the last four pages of Sonic Frontiers Prologue: Convergence!

It took me a little bit to get to this one again, but it’s finally time to talk about Issue 54!

So after Sonic and Tails show up and Surge has taken all of Whisper’s Wisps to use their powers, Sonic and Tails both decide they need to come up with a plan to defeat Surge...

Can I just say how much I love all of the things that happen in this one scene? To summarize, it starts with Sonic and Tails going to the hardware store before Surge shoots laser beams out of her eyes, and then she trips on screws and Sonic puts a bucket on her head, and then she pulls out buzzsaws and gets attached to various household appliances and explodes. Truly, the world’s most dramatic battle :3

After knocking Surge out for a little bit, Sonic and Tails are ready to take the Dynamo Cage off of her so she can no longer use it to harness her powers. However, Kit shows up just as they’re about to, and them telling him that Surge died and seeing them attack her makes Kit think that Sonic and Tails were lying to him the entire time, so he turns against them, grabs Surge, and leaves.

We also learn that Eggman has found out about Surge using his Dynamo Cage, which gives him an idea for a new plan, and to finish off this Issue, we also get this really nice scene with Surge and Kit back at Starline’s old base...

And that’s it for Issue 54!
