It went great!

He made me dinner, showed me his record collection, played darts and chatted while at his place

We went to the movies - which he paid for, thankfully - and he held my hand the entire time.

When he walked me to my door he went in for a kiss but I was going in for a hug so it was really awkward.

However I told him I wanted to take it slow and he agreed as well.
