The real downside of the terrible quality of my 2006 camera-phone pics (a whole third of a megapixel!) is that it gives absolutely no impression of just how jewel-like all the little onion-domed churches are. This was in December, so it really was that grey, but they were still completely breathtaking.

(Also it’s so long ago that I really can’t remember what each one is).
