The face you make when you take a moment to count your blessings and not your calories, problems, or the number of items on your to-do list. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ about this photo: my husband is my main blog photographer. He's not just an #IGhusband, he and I have been professional wedding photographers for 8 years. The other day we needed to go out and shoot photos for a brand I'm partnering up with and normally I pose in some sort of plyometric workout move. That day I said to him "I'm going to do some yoga moves and stretch. Just shoot along and follow my lead." While doing those moves I closed my eyes, surrendered into my body and stretched. I began to be overwhelmed with gratitude. How lucky am I to be able to make some sort of living for my family doing the things I'm passionate about: fitness, photography, connecting with people, and now just a few shy months away from completing my health and nutrition certification. 🙌🏾 I've always been a woman who pursued her passions, but if you asked me 4 years ago when I started this fitness journey if this was the life I'd be living my answer would be "HELL NO!" My idea of weightlifting was lifting wine glasses (some days it still is that and my version of cardio would be running to the closest brunch spot (some days it's still that too). @workoutbean posted an incredible message today on her profile. I'm not gonna paraphrase it because she NAILED IT 🙏🏾 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Gratitude is EVERYTHING! It makes the world go round. It creates that #mindbodysoul connection we all desperately need with ourselves and others. Consider this your reminder to spend a few moments to be grateful for the journey you're on. #relentlesslybeautifullife
