It's hard to say who is having a worse day, Athanasios or Ignaz.

This one's actually from the book, so... spoilers lol? (It's about a third of the way in and Athanasios is one of the viewpoint characters, so I'll let you draw your own conclusions^^)

Athanasios collapsed.

Suddenly Ignaz was there. The crowd was shifting and shouting around them, but Ignaz was there, had grabbed him and roughly turned him on his back and Athanasios only just managed to give Adler an »Adler, down,« before the bird could react to what to him must seem like an attack, and Ignaz was there and peered into his face and pressed his hands onto his bullet wound.

Athanasios’ eyes were unfocusing, but the jolt of pain was all too clear.

Ignaz was there.

»Hey, you,« he whispered.

»What the hell were you thinking?! Athanasios, stay with me. Look at me.«

It was easier said than done. Athanasios felt the noise and the motion fade away around him, his world shrinking into Ignaz who was bent over him, a look on his face that could not have been clearer.

He had known, really. A soft satisfaction settled over what was left of him.

»Hey. Will you kiss me now?«

He had seen Adler once more, too.

Ignaz bent down to him, but Athanasios was already gone.

In fact Crowley stammered regularly when drunk, or emotional, or drunkenly emotional, but Aziraphale did not mention this, recognizing that Crowley was still trying to change the subject.
