T - “Why, of course it will be good! I want all out here, I made the base of the cake with an Earthy texture to highlight your rugged personality. And all this colourful icing is evocative of your colourful background!”
actually it’s mostly made of dirt and iced with ground up rat poison
“Be sure to eat it alllll up, or else it’s coming out of our lunch money! Or you could do bodyguard work for a month… eat up, now!”
Nelson would be lying to himself if he said he wasn't surprised or caught off guard by the sudden praise he'd received from Terri...or...was that Sherri? He couldn't tell and honestly didn't care enough to figure it out either. It was so odd though. Especially coming from one of the girls. Though, all he ever really did to either one of the two was threaten them, given wet willies to, the occasional swirly, and loads after loads of pranks. The hidden skunk in the cupcake box still topped the charts with pranks received. Least to date in the boy's opinion.
Base of the cake having a earth texture to highlight his -what? Nelson couldn't help but feel a odd pit form at the center of his stomach upon hearing this. The bully blinked, glancing away ever few often as the twin continued on with her speech. He didn't know quite why, but all this praise made him feel...funny. He got praise before, but this seemed much different. The usual praise given to the boy was when he was about to tussle with another student, thus forming a circle of people who'd chant for the two to fight. This was not like that at all. He knew, in the back of his head tho, this should raise suspicions. With how she spoke of him. But for some reason that he himself couldn't explain, Nelson gave her the benefit of the doubt. He probably had done this, and not thought much of it since she was running her own little business. Customer satisfaction is key! Maybe that's why he was beginning to let his guard more down.
"Uhhh....whatever."
As he ended his sentence, Nelson gave a half shrugged, looked away in a 'rolling of the eyes' formation, then hurried and took the sweet away from Terri; all while giving little to no eye contact with the girl whatsoever. Instead of checking or bothering to see what the cupcake really looked like, Nelson had took a great big chomp out of it. He chewed it, still looking away from the twin seeming to have something on his mind. But the thought was cut short when the obvious change in his face happened. Something...something wasn't right. He hurried to shallow it before looking down at the baked 'good'. If you could even call it that. Instantly, he felt a rather tingly sensation now fill his stomach. None of this though, unlike the other feeling, was brought by words spoken to him. Instead, it was from the fact that he'd unknowingly just consumed a mixture of toxic chemicals. This wasn't a little ol' bite either. His bite took more than half the cupcake out of size.
"--OooOoOoohh..."
Immediately, he dropped to cupcake, using both arms to clench onto his stomach. The tingling soon became burning, making the child begin to groan in utter pain.
