MUSING ON OCTOBER!
October has arrived and, with it, so many familiar sounds and sights.
MAPLE TREE IN OCTOBER
Leaves of red and gold and orange colour the landscape. They crunch under our feet after they fall.
It is a beautiful month, one that is the focus of an IGWRT personification prompt for poets.
This little poem is my take on the October prompt.

Within 24 hours, the humidity and temperature have moderated to a comfortable level. It is amazing how fast things can change in the weather and in the world.
