2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup Predictions Tag

What team are you rooting for? USA

What team do you think will win? The Germans. Angela Merkel will be proud of her sons and daughters.

Who is your favorite player? Christen Press (as a forward!)

Who do you think will win the golden boot? Julie Johnston Eugenie Le Sommer

Who do you think will win the golden glove? Nadine Angerer(ererererer)

Who do you see as the dark horses of this tournament? France - but do they even count as a dark horse anymore?  They made the semis in 2011 and at the Olympics in 2012, but since they haven’t won a World Cup title, I’ll say they are still dark horses.

What group stage match are you most looking forward to? USA v Sweden

Are you going to see any of the games? I mean, I looked up tickets to potential USWNT knockout stage matches, so it’s possible, but we’ll see.

What is your dream 2015 WWC match? A gloriously entertaining final with the two best teams from the tournament.  Don’t care who, just as long as they meet those requirements.

Yes. I’ve dealt with it pretty well. But it’s something that constantly bothers me every so often. I’ve met her and spoke with her, and she’s a total sweetheart. But the whole situation is so awkward. They hang out often, because they go to the same school (I transferred out) and when I use to go there, they’d like hng out in the caf and I would be invited but I would always find some excuse to not being around them. 

I’ve spoke to him about it, and he knows how i feel, but i also don’t want to be that girl who makes their boyfriend pick between me or their best friend.

Dali:Do you have strange dreams? All the time :P They're usually a mishmash of stuff that happened during the day mixed in with plotless nonsense.

Klimt:If you have any; are you very close to your siblings? I have one younger brother, and I'm pretty close to him. He lives a few hours away so we don't see each other as often as I'd like, but when we do it's a good time...we've come a long way from when we used to fight all the time as kids!

O'Keeffe:What is your favorite flower? Calla lilies and orchids...anything that looks elegant and unique.

Pollock:How do you define 'art'? You get to learn something when you make it, and feel something when you encounter it.

The lovely cruyffsbeckenbauer tagged me to do the football/soccer post that's going around so here is a bunch of stuff about my preferences you probably didn't want to know ;)

Who is your favorite player? There are a lot of players I like but if I had to pick one it'd be Carles Puyol. As for active players I like Xavi, Iniesta, Gerrard, Messi, and all my SKC boys.

Sexiest Player? I actually have to think for such a long time on these, haha. Gonna go with Steven George Gerrard (and sometimes Matt Besler when he's not being adorable instead)

Ugliest player? Uhhh I'm not particularly fond of Rooney's looks? Haha, I don't know

Player that you hate? Pepe immediately comes to mind. Not a fan of Robben or Terry

La Liga: I support Barcelona. Follows that I will never support RM right?

PL: Liverpool. I am not one to truly hate, but there are so many options to dislike in PL. Will not support Chelsea or Man Ew

Ligue One: I don't watch any at all. Would seem like a cop-out to say PSG because it's the only team I know so I pick no one

Serie A: I only know players from Juve but I don't really like the team, so...

Bundesliga: Favorite is Dortmund; I admire their team, coach, and fans so much. I have a lot of admiration for the German teams actually - they are producing such good young players right now. I don't particularly like Bayern but I wouldn't say I hate them. I don't watch Bundesliga enough to really know who I dislike

Imma add MLS in here bc it's important: Favorite is Sporting KC, for life. Will never support the Scumpact

Favorite football moment: Sporting winning the 2013 MLS Cup!

Sad football moment: losing Tito; Carles Puyol retiring

Did you see your favorite team in stadium? I saw Liverpool in Chicago this summer! Still waiting for the day when I travel to Barcelona

Did you see your favorite player in live? I saw Steven Gerrard, and might see him again when LA comes to KC...

7. What’s your strangest talent?

I can sneeze up to 11 times consecutively (not like…on purpose). That’s not so much a talent as just how my body works, but I couldn’t think of anything else! Im strange-talent-less.

I’m sorry this is such a stupid answer, but I don’t get the question!

9. Ever had a poem or song written about you?

I used to take these evening classes for Creative Writing and there was this lovely 50-odd year old man, who was very nice, but took a disliking to the content of my writing. It was a bit of banter between us. He ended up writing a poem about it…but called me Jasmin.

10. When is the last time you played the air guitar?

Um, never? I’m more of a drum on random objects kinda gal.

11. Do you have any strange phobias?

I don’t think I have any phobias at all, in like a literal sense. But one strange thing I don’t like is a large circle of dots, or a large circle of anything small really really close together. I can’t explain it properly - but it creeps me out. *shudder*

12. Ever stuck a foreign object up your nose?

Nothing I can remember, maybe as a kid :)
