who cooks normally?: Yaku. I still forever stand by the fact that Kuroo is just a terrible cook and cannot be trusted in the kitchen. He doesn’t mind watching and sometimes Yaku will ask for a hand with the preparation.
how often do they fight?: Not often. As we know, they did when they first met but now they’ve gotten to know each other better and while they’re both still headstrong and will clash, it’s usually just a little squabble and Kuroo tends to shut Yaku up with a kiss (and vice versa).
what do they do when they’re away from each other?: They both still play volleyball a lot and Yaku helps out with a local youth team. Kuroo likes spending time with his friends on off days, so he can usually be found with Kenma or Bokuto.
nicknames for each other?: Kuroo uses “Yakkun” a lot, and he also likes “Mori” or more simple ones like Babe/Baby. Yaku mostly sticks to “Tetsu”, but if he’s sleepy then it’s “Tetsu-chan” or “honey” (and Kuroo loves it).
who is more likely to pay for dinner?: This is definitely something they fight over, every single time they go out. So mostly, they stick to eating in and if they decide to go out, they eventually settle on splitting the bill 50/50.
who steals the covers at night?: Kuroo for sure is a blanket hog. Yaku has extras hidden in a cupboard and he buries himself in them, “fuck you kuroo” and in the winter, they cuddle a lot, so it’s less of a fight.
what would they get each other for gifts?: Kuroo likes buying Yaku flowers or chocolates, he also buys him little keychains and merch from the shows he likes watching. Yaku buys Kuroo volleyball shoes, or anything that looks like it needs replacing and for special occasions, he’ll get Kuroo little ornaments or figurines.
who remembers things?: Yaku for sure. Kuroo is terrible and Yaku is constantly reminding him of birthdays or appointments. The only thing Kuroo cares to remember is Yaku’s birthday and their anniversary.
who cusses more?: Yaku. Most people think it’s Kuroo but he’s usually quite mild-mannered, he definitely watches his language and would never cuss around the wrong people. But Yaku doesn’t tend to care as much, and he only doesn’t cuss if there are kids around.
what would they do if the other one was hurt?: Yaku immediately checks what’s wrong with Kuroo and applies first aid if he needs to. He’s got his head on and stays calm about the situation.
Kuroo, on the other hand, freaks out. He’s useful enough to make sure Yaku gets help, but he asks a thousand questions (”that’s not useful at all, idiot”).
who kissed who first?: Yaku kissed Kuroo. Some girl was trying to confess and Yaku swooped in like “nope” and just straight up kissed Kuroo without any warning.
who made the first move?: Kuroo started flirting first, but it was actually Yaku who pushed things further, (”stop slacking kuroo”) and Kuroo was happy to follow along with it.
who started the relationship?: These never really said “we’re together”, it all happened kinda naturally. One date quickly became ten, then it’d stretched into months, they were together all the time, always at each other’s place and holding hands or kissing. It wasn’t until Kai asked them, they both ended up blushing and just saying: “yeah, we’re together.”
