The flag of the United States is such a symbol to me. 90% of my family are veterans, so I was raised with so much respect for the flag, our military service and our country. I am so grateful to everyone who has given and going to give their lives for my freedom. But I'm not free.

That flag lost its meaning a long time ago. America was this great place people can go to to become someone better. Given tons of opportunities and freedoms alot of other places don't have.

Yet in 2017 we have people being attacked for their right to peacefully protest. Nfl players are kneeling because of brutality. They are harming no one, they are disrespecting no one. They are preforming their right to peacefully protest.

I kneel with them. I love my country and my veterans I am not disrespecting them in anyway. But if you want people to stand for the anthem show us this country is worth standing for. Fix the bad and I'll stand but untill then I support their right to peacefully protest, and I support their reason to protest.
