Also on a technical note it's been really interesting and challenging photographing dance using an entirely manual focus system. The light in Saddlers Wells's rehearsal rooms is v poor so I've been using a 50mm at v wide appertures. This makes focusing when the subjects are moving fast difficult. But for all the frames I miss I've been tying to anticipate their movements and focus just ahead of them so the dancers move in to frame (if that makes sense?), it's a bugger to get right but so satisfying when it works. #leicam10 #50mmsummilux #ilaneshkeri #balletlife #dancer" (via #InstaRepost @AppsKottage)

It's not just better in low light, there is something about the files that it produces (presumably in conjunction with the glass?) that has a subtlety and richness I've never had from a digital camera.
