Deep within the walls of a mighty kingdom, a small creature scurried about the large stone halls in search of something very important. It was a young dwarf, a strange looking dwarf, who had traveled to this castle in search of her friend, whom she hadn't seen for quite some time. Corridor after corridor, the dwarf became more lost in the vastness of the castle & slowly became confused amongst the repetitive twists & turns. She called upon her tiny dragon companion to aid her in her quest & hopefully find her friend before the owners of this fortress; discovered their un-invited presence. Unfortunately for the young dwarf, it was far too late; two of the kingdom's residents stumbled upon her during her search just as she turned another corner, but these weren't just ordinary beings, they were MIND FLAYERS!!! The dwarf however, showed no fear, she seemed more curious than afraid upon looking at the two illithids standing in front of her, she was even in awe at the sight of such powerful beings up close in person. One of the illithids, a bright-eyed, rose-colored woman, began to glow a radiant beam of warm light as she lifted the young dwarf into the air, cooing at the dwarf as if she were just a wee infant...
Ready to aid the adventurer on her quest, the illithid pulled the young dwarf closer to her chest, keeping her nearby in hopes of not losing her within the giant stone castle. Her partner, concerned about the possibility of facing a raging-fire breathing dragon parent, unfortunately had no say in the matter despite his brief protests; & begrudgingly accompanied the three on their search for the missing satyr. Will they manage to find the satyr before days end? Will the two mind flayers face an angry overprotective dragon parent? Who knows what may come, we'll just have to wait & see....
