This is Othello. Jello for short. I recently adopted him in October, because I had just moved into a house with my sister and a few friends and we wanted to get a cat. He is such a sweetie. He loves to sleep and cuddle, and he always wants to just be with people. He likes to play and he fetches elastic bands and little kitty toys.
Recently, he has become very sick. Sick enough that he could die. The vet said his potassium and sodium levels are deathly low. He has a blockage somewhere in his body, which has been causing him to throw up anything he has tried to eat or drink for the past 6 days. He has lost about 5 lbs just this week. He has a bladder infection on top of all this, and he is severely dehydrated.
So far, our vet bill is 1200 dollars. Myself and my sister illalwayslovesherlock are just university students. We don't have that much money, but we want him to get better! It is exam time and we are both really stressing out, and so, we are asking for your help.
He needs surgery which could cost between 1000 and 1500 dollars on top of our cost of 1200 which we have incurred already.
If any of you could help us out, it would be greatly appreciated. We don't want to lose our baby kitty >_< Please help Jello!!!! He is only 3, he has so much life ahead of him! Please help, if you can!
