Illusion

As part of her powers the illusion card automatically picks up on people's thoughts and emotions. However, she has trouble differentiating and understanding these ideas. Illusion is fascinated by humans but her obsession is unintentionally destructive because of her lack of understanding. She probably picked up the cliff idea from someone's mind before Sakura and her friends stumbled onto her. Her goal clearly isn't luring people over the edge since she shows the girls images that make them run away the first time. Illusion just doesn't have the emotional maturity to predict that a) Sakura would want to go towards the image of her mother and b) that falling off a cliff will seriously injure and/or kill humans. She needs a human master to help her interpret her insights and use her powers responsibly.
