The Illusionist’s Apprentice ~by Kristy Cambron: Great mix of mystery, crime, and adventure. Strong female as the main character. Suspense and twists make for a fun read! 5/5
Matched ~by Ally Condie: This book reminded me of a cross between The Giver and Divergent. I really enjoyed the character development and how the characters changed throughout the story. As the 1st book in the trilogy there is a lot of set-up and character intro in this story. It made me want to find out more about the society and what grandfather wants for Cassia. A good choice for young adults. 4/5
Gossamer ~by Lois Lowry: I fell in love with The Giver in 5th grade. I recently discovered the other books that are a part of that world I HIGHLY suggest reading them all. Truly magic. 5/5
The Woman in Cabin 10 ~by Ruth Ware: Ruth Ware is one of the new authors that truly can provide the reader with multiple “elements of suspenseful disbelief.” I really did not know what the outcome would be and couldn’t wait for her to take me down each possible path to the conclusion. 5/5
