My name is Emily and I am looking for a not only an illustrator but an animal lover as well. I can't pay you anything but with the work we do together, maybe we could create something special.
I lost my cat of 13 years in September of 2017. She was my best friend, the light in my life. I never knew grief until I lost her.
Now, with almost a year since her death, I want to share her legacy in a children's book. I will spare most of the details but I would like to tell a story about our lives.
Pet grief isn't talked about much, especially for children who have lost an animal they loved. As I continue through the grieving process, I hope that this book will help me relax into the new normal and allow me to heal.
1. Must be 20 years old or OLDER
2. Must be skilled in drawing cats or have some sort of clear idea.
3. Be creative. This is a children's book.
4. Be patient and understand the true reason behind the story.
