14. “Does anyone else know that you’re a werewolf?”
He’s quiet for a moment, not exactly the happiest that his secret is out to someone he didn’t exactly trust. Not because she was untrustworthy, he didn’t know that about her, but that was what made him have a lack of trust with the other. Andrei knew nothing about her, didn’t know her at all even and yet she had found him. Saw him shift in the forest with the lack of control that his father was trying desperately to teach him. If she was a hunter, then he was truly fucked unless he could act quicker. But the tone, the tone wasn’t one of anger or disgust but had a touch of sympathy and maybe worry? He didn’t know how to handle it, how to read the situation. So, the Romanian sits there for a moment in the silence he created by the lack of an answer before shaking his head. “No one, my father knows...and now you.” Though his father was a bitten wolf himself, not a born one like his son. Maybe that was why he had better control. Shifting a bit, he uses his hoodie to hide the healing scars from the chains that once more failed to hold him in the basement of the home he shared with his father. “There are stories in the village, not of me, but they know we exist.” He doesn’t look at her, instead down at his hands as he continues to do his best to cover his wrists. “If they knew, they would certainly try to kill us.”
