Messi helped Suárez: "He told me I could stay there"

Suárez began playing for FC Barcelona on the right wing, but after awhile he began playing more centre. 

"Frankly, it just happened, during a match all of sudden i was in the centre and Leo on the right. He then said to me.." Keep standing there. After the game everybody saw that it worked that way, and we kept it like that.’’

So Messi gave up his favorite spot to Suarez because he knew Suarez was better more central. He took one for the team.
