It was definitely no secret that both Nagisa and Rei were overly affectionate with each other. However, since they were at school most of the time, the gestures had to be simple and small. Sometimes it was a quick kiss on the nose or cheek, a soft pat on the knee, absently running a few fingers along the other's arm, holding hands, sitting real close so their shoulders would brush against each other with every movement, an eskimo kiss, the list was endless. Nagisa was low on the affection battery every single day and demanded attention and cuddles from Rei whenever he could. This would usually be in a loud and shameless way; i.e. jumping on his boyfriend's back and squeezing the life out of him, squealing, "Rei-chan, I want a kiss!"Blame it on their honeymoon phase. Rei would always instantly turn bright red and squawk at him to, "Nagisa-kun, please-not-in-public."Bickering ensued until Makoto pulled them apart and had to comfort a pouting Nagisa and  a spluttering Rei. Haru would always roll his eyes at, but still had a small smile on his face. This is where the little gestures of affection were born. Rei found a way to keep Nagisa (and himself but that was a secret) satisfied by stealing short and sweet kisses and touching each other very briefly so no one would notice. Of course Nagisa would take advantage and often give Rei a light tap on his butt or poke in the side, which would end up with Rei lecturing him and Nagisa trying his best to keep himself from bursting out laughing. It wasn't until one day in the library where Rei finally managed to get him back. Nagisa had complained he couldn't focus at home because of the posters in his room and constant noises his sisters were making, so Rei came up with the idea to study in their local library. It turned out to be a great idea because not only was Nagisa really excited to go on study dates with Rei, but he actually managed to get a lot of work done there. They were sitting next to each other somewhere in the back since Rei knew the library like the back of his hand and told him that was the most private area. Books and notes scattered everywhere because Nagisa found out that he had to switch between subjects often to stay focused. He was currently working on biology, reviewing the names of the bones in the legs when he suddenly felt a finger on the back of his exposed neck, barely touching it.

A shiver ran down his back and goosebumps appeared all over his arms and legs, totally alert. The innocent finger lightly brushed over the nape and Nagisa slapped his hands over his mouth, trying to move away, but Rei just casually followed him, along with his annoying index. Nagisa couldn't risk removing his hands because they were not allowed to talk. What was Rei even doing? He tried to dive under the table but the finger forever remained glued to his skin, scratching and drawing feather light circles. They were pretty much alone, lucky him, but his face was bright red at this point, both from holding in his laughter and embarrassment. His stupid ass of a boyfriend found out that his neck was super sensitive and not only to kisses and oh, god, now he was thinking of Rei burying his nose under his jaw and lightly kissing his pulse point, nope, nope. Muffled giggles started slipping out and he angrily (read: not) looked over at Rei to tell him to quit it, but stopped when he saw that handsome smirk. He had seen Rei smirk before, because he was more often than not impressed by his own skills, but this one was completely different. This was the type of smirk that screamed that he was very much in charge and Nagisa didn't know Rei was even capable of doing that. It was both alluring and annoying.

This was very frustrating. His flush darkened because apparently that was possible, and he shut his eyes, pressing his hands harder against his lips, shaking with silent laughter. The giggles were getting louder and he was continuously scrunching up his shoulders to try and block Rei but he simply couldn't."Payback," Rei whispered and that was when he finally stopped tickling. Instead, he cupped the back of Nagisa's neck and pulled him in for a kiss. His lips tingled because of the constant pressure of his hands but now they were resting against Rei's soft ones, enhancing their senses. The kiss was very short, but enough to make Nagisa even more breathless than he already was. Rei pulled back ever so slightly, mumbling, "Don't worry, I made sure no one was around still. I just wanted to hear your beautiful laughter.""... You're a butt," Nagisa uttered in response, averting his gaze. Rei laughed softly against his lips and gave him one more peck, letting the hand that was on his neck slip back to hold his jaw, caressing his red cheek with his thumb. "Just a way of showing affection."

tell me about your favorite thing from this past week, whether it's a tv episode or some unexpected good news you received or whatever.

this is sappy but my favorite thing from this past week was a person :3  so, sorry in advance to her bc I am gonna smother her with love in my reply to you and no one can stop me 😈

my fave thing last week was @ultimatescream 💖  my Emmabug’s always a highlight of my life, but this past week especially she was the reason I went to bed every night and woke up every morning with a smile on my face.

Emma is the softest, sweetest person I’ve ever met. I spend every moment just hoping she’s happy and loved and taken care of. But this past week she took excellent care of me, and made sure I was supported and cared for every single day — especially when I was stressed to the max over my award ceremony at work.

I can only dream of giving her back a fraction of the happiness that she gives me, but I am doing my very best ♥
