Hhhhhhh I tried drawin’ a Google for the first time last night- I don’t draw humans like- ever- but I’m decently proud of how this came out! You’re one of my favourite ego artists on tumblr, and you’ve been drawing humans for WAY longer than I have, do you have any suggestions/critiques/things I should change? I’m def having trouble with the hairline, I know that. (Thank you!) ;w; 💙💙

Yo! Looks pretty good, yeah! Let me see... if I have to suggest, it would be the following:
- beard: Make it incongruent, not straight lines. Make it criss-cross for effect!
-neck: I recommend checking out how the neck moves, since it’s not just one slope down on both sides-- took me a while to learn that too. Your head is supported by the neck and watch the weight of the head; it needs to look like that it could support it. To check, I usually just flip the canvas.
-eyelids: Your eyes are great-- symmetrical, but sometimes we forget an important feature-- the eyelids! Eyelids can help in accentuating one’s expression.
-not really anatomy but Google’s G doesn’t reach his upper torso :D A bit lower. Check out how clothes catch onto our body; admittedly I’m not good at folds and creases yet, but they do add more to a drawing.
My go-to way for checking inconsistencies/ things to improve is to flip the canvas, because it really does give a new perspective. Then zoom out, zoom in, et cetera since usually in the end of a drawing spree, it gets tedious.
I hope these help! I’m honored that you asked me, and thank you for your kind words :D
