Unnatural Anon, since Delusion Thief Reader takes place in a "reader is an Allogene and part of the game" AU, The basis of Delusion Thief Reader intro is "Pyro Allogene found a wounded Fatui Electro Cicin Mage, forever boxed her, and took the Delusion to modify into their gear they use to hunt Fatui." With some major plot points glossed over.

pyro with an electro delusion are two very hot elements so that bumps up the simpness HSADLFKJASDFASDF
But I think that'd be super cool. The higherups noticing that a fatui has gone AWOL but not really caring bc she wasnt that high of a rank (think of all the people in the chasm that were just left there). Then when the reader starts taking out other fatui with a delusion strapped to them permanently, they realize they made quite a large error in ignoring the mage's disappearance.
