I spent all weekend gardening.

No actual gardening 😆

Spent 4 hours weeding yesterday. And planted raspberry plants and some lemon balm seeds by my shed. And in the front garden bed that used to be covered in morning glory I planted a thyme plant along with lavender, lupin, and delphinium seeds. Trimmed the rosemary bush and planted catnip on the porch garden bed.

Soooo not much writing got done but I'm sure starting to feel a lot more human.

it's getting to that point in winter where I sit under bright lamps and put nature sounds on the tv to feel alive again

can't wait for July in this city I hope it gets so hot you can feel it pressing down on you and the sweat just becomes permanent that's when I feel alive

It's just noises. Like car horns, alarms, loud chewing, clicking, sometimes peoples voices

🌀 - Favorite type of weather?

Mild weather! I cant take extremes like if it's cold or hot. It's why I like spring and autumn so much. Barely any chances of overheating or getting cold easily

Blisters

The wind is strong and bitter,

As it crosses the tips of our fingers.

The winter seems different as we walk in the snow,

Our boots freezing feet to the bone.

Skin turns pink, then red, then purple.

The cold is too much for us to bare,

But we walk, quietly, onwards.

Blisters on our fingers,

Hellfire in our eyes.

Determined we are, perhaps to die.
