It was a very rare occurrence, to be the only one home today in Tigerdove manor, something so very unusual that Oikawa couldn't not take advantage of this chance.
Although, aside from leaving bread crumbs on Tobio-chan's bed again and watching volleyball games on his computer (without headphones!), there really isn't much else to do.
A humongous house is all the more quiet when no one's around to fill it in with noise--the Tigerdove manor especially, whose residents caused enough of a racket to garner several complaints from neighbors.
The silence now didn't suit it at all. Normally Oikawa would be used to the quiet, but months of noisy teammates and energy brimming from every corner had him preferring it to dinner alone in front of his computer screen when his parents couldn't make it home for work, which happened often enough.
To get rid of the silence, Oikawa does laundry, which doesn't work out very well. In retrospect, it wasn't wise of him to ignore the washing machine's instruction manual and dump about six cups of detergent into the thing.
Now, to explain how exactly he'd come to be standing in an ankle-depth sea of soap suds...
