"I got a job. And it'll be my payment should I complete it." She smirked. "And when have I ever not?"

She nodded thoughtfully, tapping her finger against her lips. "Isn't that messy? We'll have a paper trail, names...people will know who we are in those buildings. How are we gonna keep up payments? A job here and a job there, months yeah but...but permanent?" Red flags? Just a little. The thought was nice, a luxury apartment. But they weren't those people. They hated those people. She didn't want to become those people or have to live like they belonged there. And what job would come with those connections? They'd be in someone's pocket, under someone's thumb. But whose? She didn't ask directly, for names. She would find out it she had to. If it sounded too good to be true, it probably was.
