This is my new colour scheme, I decided to not use black and white because I don't find it an exciting colour. Red is my favourite colour and the colour does represent joy and passion.

Task 2.3 - Summary of product specifications
Purpose:
The purpose of this product is for our employers to get a glimpse inside our life and to know who we are and how we function. It does make it easier for the employer because they would know about your personality which makes you more of an individual amongst other competitors who could possibly not have this product showcasing your personality.
Target audience:
The target audience for this portfolio would be future employers and yourself (it would be like a mind refresh of the target you want to reach and a look back on what our plans were), potentially people who are browsing the internet for inspiration.
Client needs:
Your name, employment history, academic history, email address or (and) phone number, software skills.

As you can see in this screenshot I have looked into the colours I am looking to use as well as how they look on a black and white background. I might go for a black background because it makes the colours stand out more and it does suit me. As you can see about the screenshot, I looked into some fonts which I am yet to decide from but I have gathered other peoples opinions and Comix Loud has been the one that people say that suit my personality. I spent a long time looking for the correct colour scheme because I didn't want to make my main colour plain primary red. #ff3232 is very soft to the eye yet bold at the same time.
Task 1.3
What three ways does the brain process experience and who said this?
The three ways the human brain processes experience is as follows:
Visceral design is our initial reaction to something, behavioral design is our total experience with using the product and reflective design is how we feel after initially interacting with the product and then associate broad life experience and meaning with the product.
This was summarised in his book Emotional Design, in this book he looks at people's relationship towards design.
Summarise the five tips of improving storytelling through design.
Create levels of interaction with the story. If someone where to glance over it in 30 seconds, what could they take away? If they were to want more after reading it, what could they do?
Know your target audience. Anticipate what they will respond to and interact with.
Pay homage to the medium you choose through the design choices you make. The web is vastly different today than it was 5 years ago. People like interaction. A static landing page may not cut it anymore. Same goes for mail pieces.
Know the basic purpose of the communications piece and the story. Allow all other considerations to flow from that point.
Map out the trajectory of the story you are trying to tell and the call to action you want to inspire. This will allow you to holistically understand what it is you want to convey.
