Thots
I believe in humans as these multidimensional beings in constant repetitions of thoughts and patterns and actions that just happen to play out at any given moment often without awareness of it. Nothing really explains why we sit on the couch a certain way, why we take one side of the bed, or why we move without needing to be anywhere.
The one thing that’s been bothering the fuck out of me lately is my growing awareness of cisgendered privilege. I’ve been so blessed to have met so many non-binary, trans, agendered folk in the last few months but when I talk to them I realize there’s a lot more going on in their heads and I fucking hurt deep for them.
Especially in regards to transfolk, you’re talking about people that HAVE to present themselves a certain way to avoid prying questions, mockery, etc. When I go to the store I can slap on a shirt and things just match up for me, I don’t have to worry about not being comfortable or having to present myself in a certain way. When I go to the store to buy clothes, I don’t feel uncomfortable because people are looking at me like I don’t belong in that section or because I’m buying something effeminate, but my transfriends (MTF) talking about how they have go with cisgendered girls to the store to buy clothes and that fucking hurts, people should be forced to do anything to feel safe/comfortable/etc.
I dare any homeboy step on my friends toes about them buying whatever the fuck they want, looking however the fuck they want, doing whatever the fuck they want. Let people be people.
