SOCSCI10: Understanding the Self Week 2 of School (August 13-19)
Process Questions
1) What does the house say about yourself? The simple and small design of this house shows that I am a minimalist. For this house, I designed it for someone who is living along with very little household appliances.
2) In what way does your metaphor depict the following: Loob at Labas? The inside of the house is a lot more complex than the outside. I actually didn’t bother to draw the outside since i focused more in the inside. Although it might be complex compared to the outside, I actually find this simple enough for me.
Abot-malay? It depicts that I am not really conscious about the look of my house. Whether people find it messy or not, as long as it has everything that fits my needs, I am okay with it.
Abot-dama? I would say that not a lot of strong emotions are depicted. Though there are ideas in this house that says a lot about how I express myself, such as my desire to live alone. I cannot really imagine living with someone as of now, but my idea of a future house may change if I happen to meet my significant other. There is also a piano in my house, which is one of the mediums for expressing my emotion.
Abot-kaya? In physical terms, there isn’t really a lot of space. Other people may find it claustrophobic, but I think that this is good enough for me since I wouldn’t have to move around my house a lot.
