It’s kind of left open-ended for the reader to presume how long it would take to try the patience of even a generous saint like Bingley--like the conundrum of an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. The Wickhams are Peak Annoying, but the Bingleys are Peak Forgiving.

As to normal lengths of stays/visits for houseguests, it could really vary depending on the relationship with the guest. The basic hospitality would perhaps be a few days, especially if there was some kind of party or entertainment being put on by the hosts; but it could stretch to weeks or even months, if everyone was fine with it. (Or in the Bingleys case, fine enough to not say anything about it to their guests’ faces.) In Persuasion we see that Benwick is such a long-standing guest of the Harvilles that they consider him as one of the family, so he’s likely been with them for quite some time.

Also, you need to start charging that man for rent--or at least a fair portion of the water/utilities bills.
