idk if you've been following or not but recently killer's creator drew a bunch of concepts of "what ifs" where killer gets diff soul traits and patience! killer just came out and i immediately thought of ribbon so i drew this in a flash ( IT'S SIX in the morning and i woke up doodling ) i feel feverish.. ohh.. dolls... plushies.... ohhh stuffing... can they be friends. besties. theyre so cute already. so dear to me.

Firstly, I know I'm late to this since it was 9 PM in my time zone, but go drink some water and eat some soup right now so you're not feverish.

I have not been following Killer's creator that closely, a little bit, but I looked this Killer up and aww, little guy. He looks so 'eepy.

Best friends, best friends . . . would.

It reminds me of an old AO3 comment on I'll Make You Mine where someone suggested an AU where Ribbon runs away from Nightmare and ends up adopted into a toy-themed AU, soon after the surgery that turned him into a doll. This would happen like that. However Ribbon gets into this AU, he ends up befriending Killer since he feels the most like home. And he's another doll he can cuddle and share stuffed animals with. Despite this not being the part of the story where all his friends keep getting killed/captured/tortured, Ribbon would do what he could to protect Killer, at least until he could calm down and learn making mistakes won't get him beaten here. I'm not sure what to say about Killer here since I don't know how different his lore and personality would be possessed by a different soul.

This was meant to be a sketch, but . . . they're cute. They fell asleep watching a movie.

The other neat part is that Ribbon would be allowed to have Patience!Killer as a friend because he's an alternate version of someone Nightmare trusts. Assuming the running away thing didn't happen.

doodle dump! originally i did want to render this but rendering.. is such a nightmare ( hah! ).... so... well. this is this i guess. apparently ruru was somewhat acknowledged by nm in the asks... so... hey! have a doodle of ruru and nm... hatedancing??? i still cant draw to save my life wtf are arms bro. this is an excuse so i can draw imperare nm in royal clothing actually. maybe up my game at drawing clothes in general... it has a bunch of random doodles here and there..!

Extra notes:

Story's Protagonist.

Core is immune to the infection due to how unstable their soul is. Since it's split across time and space, the parasite can't settle in place without getting ripped to shreds.

The necklace they wear was something they made themself in order to sense when Blue, Cross, Epic, or Dream are nearby and prepare for an attack. It glows if one of them is in the same AU and vibrates if one of the four are very close. - Nightmare doesn't get one because his negative aura is so strong that he makes his presence known without trying. Also, he doesn't deserve a cute charm on the not-friendship necklace.

Core still has the ability to see across the multiverse, but Nightmare's corruption makes it require much more energy, so they don't use the power as much.

Yes, their poncho was a pain to draw and shade. Not as bad as Epic's camo trench coat, which sounded like a good idea at the time and then I decided to make animations. Sigh.

The respirator mask is for heavily infected/corrupted AUs. The parasite is waterborne, not airborne, but the stench left in the air can still cause nausea and dizziness.

The circles on their hood is supposed to be two O's to represent the Omega Timeline, which has fallen under "Dream's" control. Core saved as many people as they could and created a new pocket AU to hide them all in. It's called the Doodlesphere Rescue Alliance, DRA for short.

Core may not be able to get infected by anyone, but they are still vulnerable to attacks and can be killed through the sheer brutality. Fighting isn't their specialty and if they go on missions (for supplies, food, rescuing people, research, etc), they always bring someone with fighting magic for protection.

Core has three main goals throughout the story: Find a cure to the infection, rescue their friends from Nightmare's mind control, and defeat Nightmare once and for all.

I drew some sketches on a study sheet from my upcoming UTMV sequel fic, Down With The Puppeteer. I'm not posting two of them because they're pretty signficant spoilers, but you can have the third.

I was writing a section of the next chapter and thought of this image while doing so. I doodle Core so much that I forget how short they are compared to all the other characters. They're only 4'0 while Nightmare is 6'1. Short bit of the scene for context:

"I Wasn't Listening"

Not quite the start of Killer's unhealthy obsession with Cross, but early on. When Cross worked for Nightmare, he didn't care about any of his colleagues as all he wanted to do was get his work done and rebuild his home. Killer, meanwhile, thought there could be more. Nobody else has ever made his soul feel like this.

Also, how do we feel about the watercolor coloring? Does it look okay?

Imperare Main Cast: Lust

This was the secret character I mentioned before and the only one who has not made any apperance in the fic yet. He went through a few designs and redesigns and I still don't know how I feel about the colors.

Extra notes:

The first thing you probably notice is Lust's infection status. You see, Underlust was not impacted by the parasites in the same way many other AUs were. Sure they existed and there were dark puddles of negativity that formed, but it wasn't that big of a deal. They got Core's announcement about the severity of the parasite, but without any way to make direct contact with them of the Stars, they ignored it. Unlike the majority of the multiverse, when the Underlust monsters came in contact with the puddles and parasites, suffered a common cold and depression for about a week before recovering. Only Stage One affects them.

I'll be making a whole post eventually explaining vunerable souls, partially immune souls, and immune souls, and what causes them, but in Lust and Underlust's case, it's because of the lust serum.

Onto Lust himself! Before the apocalypse, he was good friends with Ink. He heard of his "death" from Core Frisk after they interogatted him, but he didn't fully believe it. He thought Ink did something stupid and was now missing, which isn't completely wrong. He's still in denial that Ink is gone because he was his only attachment to the greater multiverse.

Lust knows Dream and Blue and they're decent friends, but not like how he was friends with Ink.

Underlust Sansby, named Sparks, is in Imperare. Lust's jacket was a gift from him after his was destroyed by parasites and liquid negativity.

The baseball bat was a gift from Underlust Undyne. Lust had it for a long time, but only now is using it.

He can also land a nasty kick or punch, very flexible and arcobatic, thanks to his pole dancer job.

Lust hates Nightmare, join the club, and Nightmare hates him just as much. They might be my favorite dynamic to write since they both despise each other for different reasons, but they're forced to work together.

Lust is eventually branded by Nightmare too. Again, join the club with Cross and Ink. He hides it with a shirt Nightmare gave him because he didn't like how he walked around scandalously with his ribs and femur exposed.

Lust isn't used to being treated with genuine kindness outside of Rose (Underlust Papyrus), Mettaton, and Sparks due to how objectifying everyone in Underlust is. That's a major part of his character arc.

Lust is not open for asks yet and won't be until his debut chapter (Chapter 10).
