what I find so amazing is how unselfish the boys are with their stage. Typically when you are an opening act, you get a black cloth behind you, no fancy lights... nothing. which is what the boys had when they started out. You aren't allowed to actively engage with the audience. Just sing and make way for the big names. But the boys are really generous. They let the opening acts use the stage fully with the screens and everything. It just shows they aren't threatened and are secure in their zone.
I completely agree with you. That is one thing that I love about One Direction. I don't think their humbleness towards what they've accomplished, is an act. And knowing that, they want to give the same to others.Â
The funny thing is, is when they opened for Big Time Rush in the states, most of the audience was there for One Direction and singing back their lyrics lol.
sometimes i genuinely wonder how many media outlets are secretly collecting Larry evidence so they are prepared to cover the story as soon as it breaks. Like the minute the boys come out we are going to get a million news paper articles like the one Yahoo did on All the Larry evidence they have been collecting over the years. Like E! analysing the interviews they've done with the boys etc. "everyone else in the room can see it" i'm guessing the interviewers know too
i'm pretty sure that every media outlet has got something like this saved. people in the media KNOW and they are waiting and seeding and waiting and they want to be the first to publish the story. like you said "everyone else can see it", business people know and other musicians know and they are discrete enough to not tell yet (which is good!). but as soon as the bomb drops i'm sure that they are prepared :)
