You don't want to drag attention towards you, so all you do is smile and hope that the ones that are known to care about you will see your tears behind that smile, but some don't even care enough to see that redness around your eyes or notice the way you move or speak is different. Seeing all those positive posts saying "hey you, you're beautiful" or "hey I'm proud of you today" never made me feel better because, if my own family and friends can't say that to me then what makes you think it means anything to me when a stranger says it?
