(1/2) About the Pawn being the love interest: They fortunately don't go that route, I did like the *idea* that they're supposed to have this like. father daughter thing going on, especially since the Pawn is named after Ethan's daughter, but of course they botch that as well. Quite honestly I could sing you a song about everything wrong with this thing, but it would be disorganized as fuck (as I don't know where to start) and littered with swear words -

(2/2) so I'll just redirect you to Mother's Basement's video on this thing. He hasn't played the game, but you don't even need to have done that to tear this rubbish of a show apart (and he does that very eloquently in his video), and quite honestly, not having played the game spared him from the agony of watching that thing as someone who actually played and cares about it.
