भारत में स्टारलिंक को सैटेलाइट इंटरनेट शुरू करने की मिली क्लियरेंस

एलन मस्क की कंपनी स्टारलिंक को भारत में सैटेलाइट इंटरनेट सेवाएं शुरू करने के लिए इंडियन स्पेस रेग्युलेटर से क्लियरेंस मिल गई है. इंडियन नेशनल स्पेस प्रमोशन एंड ऑथराइजेशन सेंटर (IN-SPACe) ने बुधवार को इसकी जानकारी दी.

जून की शुरुआत में सरकार ने स्टारलिंक को GMPCS (ग्लोबल मोबाइल पर्सनल कम्युनिकेशन बाय सैटेलाइट), VSAT सर्विसेज और ISP कैटेगरी-A के लिए लाइसेंस दिया था. स्टारलिंक तीसरी कंपनी है, जिसे दूरसंचार विभाग से सैटेलाइट संचार (सैटकॉम) सेवाओं के लिए मंजूरी मिली है. इससे पहले वनवेब और रिलायंस जियो को भी यह अनुमति दी जा चुकी है.
