I have a large amount of dislike for the computing society at my uni. Despite liking most of the people in said society.

It's probably because they get excited about programming languages and know shit about tech and follow tech news and geek out over this shit. These conversations are a fast-track to making me feel inadequate and crappy.

There's a guy in here talking about why don't we all make start-ups from our third-year projects and wouldn't start-ups be awesome and yay industry real life programming not academia "what's YOUR [programming] language?" arghhhh.

but not the fact that they're low

because oh no

you have straight a's

but she has to talk to you because you are curled into a ball in a giant hoodie panicking because you are certain that you will fail at everything you do in life and that your grades are shit and your friends are shit and you are shit

that's a little not fun

the topic of a therapist has been brought up
